Hmm, Iv got a friend’s birthday coming up. Scratching my head to think of what to get for this friend. I wouldn’t say we are very good friends, but I have been invited to her birthday do. So I will have to come up with something.

All I know is she loves music, and plays the piano and guitar since young. So it would make sense if I got her something music related? Hmmm… I think Ill check out the Egnater Tweaker later, see if that’l make a good gift.

When I left Uk, it was still chilly about 15 degrees or lower. I had my jacket on. Then I went to Budapest for a week, it was surprisingly warm and sunny about 20 degrees, only had my cardigan on. Now that im back in Malaysia it is 27-32 degrees!! That weather change, must be the culprit for my low immune system now! eek.

I don’t normally suffer from jetlag, but looking at the rate I am going right now, I think I am pretty much experiencing a jetlag!! It is 5.30am now, and I am still awake. Not feeling a tiny bit sleepy also. Darn

I have got some online work due in a few hours time, but if I keep side tracking doing other things like shopping for steel bracelets online, facebooking, looking at my pictures, I think I will never finish it on time, let alone go to bed!!! My biological clock will turn upside down, urgh.

5 days in budapest has ended! Just in a blink! happy times passes by so quickly, without us realising it. And now 2 weeks of my holidays has gone, 4 weeks left at home

Overall, our budapest trip was a good and successful one, everything I planned went smoothly, and we managed to do everything we wanted to see. One the first day of our arrival, we went for ruin pub with a local guide. Then segway tour on second day, went for a buffet dinner on the cruise at night, then joined a personal budapest tour for the 3rd day, that covered the whole of BUDA area, had a hungrarian lunch at the tourguide’s parents home outside of the city, followed by visiting the hidden places in the PEST area as well. Then on our final day, we spent half a day in bath szechenyi, then off to the castle hill for the night scenery.

A very well spent 4 full days in Budapest!

I was looking forward to go to Marrakesh for holiday this march. Then realised I needed a visa to marrakesh, such a bummer!! We wanted to experience something different, and go to a warmer country for a change. However, by the time we found out, it was too late to get a visa already, so Budapest  it is!! Now I am looking forward to go to Budapest instead. Heard that Marrakesh isn’t the safest  place to go to, also there’s a concern about their food hygiene. Diarhoa and fever is common for tourist there! So I am glad, especially when my tummy is so sensitive, I wouldn’t be able to cope eh! Having said that, Marrakesh may be a good alternative to slimvox though! Haha, can lose a few pounds there maybe.

Hmm.. Ipad 3 is out soon, possibly already in the market. Since the 1st ipad was out, I already wanted to own one. But it isn’t cheap, and not really a necessity at the moment. So I have been good, waited  for so long, still havn’t bought one yet. I guess I will only be wanting to own one, but I believe  I won’t waste money investing in an Ipad. Anyway, why would I need it, when I’v got an iphone, and  a macbook right? Hehe.

Not only have I managed to shop for shoulder screws for my flat, I also completed 8 CPDs’ so far! Woohoo.

Actually this year, every pharmacists in Torbay area have been called to complete our CPD (continous professional development) write ups. We are given 5 weeks period to finish them off, and submit them to the pharmaceutical society. Well, we are meant to do 9 cpds’ a year, and since I have registered for 18 months I have to write up 14!!! That is crazy work.

But I guess I am considered ‘lucky’ since some of my collegues who have been registered for over 5 years they have to write up at least 25 CPDs! God knows how long it will take them to complete those.

I think I have been really good, since it was my day off, I thought I shall wake up early and do my CPDs, aimed to finish 10 that day, however ended up with 8, which I think its pretty impressive!

So 6 more to go!!

 I really dislike hackers. But once they inject virus and malwares to your websites, it is very difficult to get rid of them unless you are a hacker yourself to counteract that. So my websites have been infected for over a month and I was really distressed about it. Iv hired several different people on odesk to sort it out, most  of which did not live up to their standards, the problems quickly came back after a day or 2 after the repair. Having said that, I hired pretty cheap employees , thus I guess reflected the quality of the work.

After 2 weeks or so, I finally gave in. I thought I have to get it fixed or else there wont be any  sales at all! So posted another job on odesk, and this time I was determined to hire someone of good  quality. And I did find him! He is great at what he do, and fixed the problem in less then 3 hourS! But there is a price to pay.

$120 for below 3 hours work! That is a better rate than a pharmacistS! Gosh, I can’t believe I paid someone that much to fix my websites. Lets hope it is well worth it, and my sales will pay for it.

Never have I asked for EL since I started working 2.5 years ago. No matter how ill I am, I still try to turn up for work, because I just feel bad and can’t do it. However today I had half day off because my head was killing me. It was such an unproductive day for me, as I had so much planned to do, including looking for barcode scanner online and finishing my CPDs.

Anyway my line manager came to store to see me today to do my annual performance contract review, and I guess I was lucky, I wasn’t feeling well at the right time and day, there was a chance for a cover, I thought.

I already had headache from few days ago, but it didnt help when lunch was at 2.30pm! Pain killers didn’t work either, so I told my boss I have to go. Left at 2.30pm, went home, straight to bed for 3 hours. Felt better after waking up, couldn’t have done it if I was still at work! Phew..

So our holidays to budapest is all planned out nicely. We were really looking forward to go  for the canoe tour trip on danube river, however was misled by the website, thinking it will be available in March, but found out the tour is only available from May, after emailing the tour agent. What a bummer!! I guess it made sense since March is still pretty chilly, and in eastern europe, sometimes it can still snow in March!

oh well, I have a back up plan already! Ha-ha. So we are all looking forward for the trip despite the cancellation of the canoe activity!
