Woohoo! After working for a long week, I deserve 3 days break!! Ha-ha
After checking out on steel building, I am going to clean up the mess in my flat, and pack, ready to leave for Plymouth !!
It is about time I meet up with my uni mates, catch up on our lives, and have a good laugh. Afterall, I have been facing the walls for almost 10 days, I need my sanity back.

So my holiday back home started off really boring and slow, during the first week, the only thing I did was looking for stainless undermount sink with my parents. But after the 2nd week, my schedule was just packed everyday! I think it is good to be occupied rather than being bored and restless at home.
So basically I have been eating and playing for the past few weeks, and meeting lots of new friends, and been exposed to different businesses and investment opportunities.
I think overall, this 1 month holiday was a great and enjoyable one!
People think Im crazy, going for karaoke 3 days in a row. They may think I love singing very much eh (well maybe I do enjoy it occasionally) but actually I enjoy going for any event that is held at night, midnight or till early morning, what I do, dont really matter, be it eating, drinking, karaoke-ing or just chatting and chilling with friends at home.
Tonight, I was about to attend my 3rd karaoke session, but the wedding dinner ended late, by the time I sent my friends home, it was already 12am. My friends were already there in Subang Jaya, but it is quite a distance to travel at night, on my own, so I thought I’d stay in and be good for once.
Yes, I am still following UK time after being home for 3 weeks. So dont expect me to be awake in the morning, skipping breakfast is normal, but because of my sleeping patterns, I have been skipping lunches as well!! Very bad eh?
Omg.. I dont think I can stand the weather at home!! I mean if you stay indoor it is fine, you have the air cond and the fan both on at the same time, so it is very cooling, artificial air but still bearable.
If it wasn’t for the rzr parts, I would have stayed indoor today!! Once I stepped out of the house, to the car, or to get out from the car to the mall etc, a few minutes of sun can ‘burn’ my skin! Seriously! Ouch. Today was exceptionally hot, I dont know why, but my friend and I felt like we went for a sauna!! Phew…
At this very moment, I am sitting in Easyhotel, London Heathrow surfing for rv insurance. My flight to go home is in less than 12 hours now. Can’t believe how fast time passes! Awhile ago my parents just visited, then my sister left a few weeks ago, and now I am going home again! Ha-ha. Ideal isn’t it?
With all the riots going on in UK, it will be good to get out of the country for awhile. At first I thought the riots were only happening in London and major cities, but apparently it has also happened in Exeter and Plymouth, 2 cities that are so close to me!
So, I am glad to get out of here for a bit.
After signing for a contract with 02, I get to fill in a form to get my iphone unlocked for free! That is really good offer from 02, don’t you think? Normally it costs about £20 to get a phone unlocked, but if you are an 02 customer, you can get it done completely free of charge.
The only catch is, it is not done for you immediately. You need to fill in a form, providing your IMEI number, then you have to wait for a text to let you know it has been successful. The whole procedure can take up to 2 weeks.
I just did it last Thursday, hoping it would be done before I fly home, but up till now I still havn’t received a text from 02 yet. So I guess I won’t really be able to use an iphone back home for the 1st 2 weeks, unless there is wifi around! Shame!
I can’t believe I’ll be going home again in just a few weeks time!
With my new contract, I have an additional 10 weeks holiday, that means I can go home every 3 months! This time I havn’t plan any trips yet, I wanted this holiday to be a relaxing and spontaneous one.
However, I think I will get a snorkel mask ready, just in case we go for snorkeling. The chances of me going for a beach holiday is quite high. With the nice hot and sunny weather at home, why not chill at the beach right.
Let’s hope this holiday is going to be a good one.
I just received my new card today. No, its not a credit card, but a renewed work permit in the form of a card, similar to credit card. I dont know whether I should be happy or not, but they have granted me another 3 years leave in the UK, so I can carry on working as long as my employer keeps me.
With the new system, they don’t stamp the passport anymore, they took my photo, and my finger prints, and incorporated those details into a chip on the card. So as long as I carry this card with me, I can go in and out of the country freely! Whee. Well, I guess it is a good thing, at least I have got more options to choose from.
I have been eating non-stop lately. I wonder why? I constantly feel hungry, thus snack in between meals more than usual. I think I need slimming pills soon or else I will start to grow side ways eh.
I rarely eat breakfast in the morning, so I have a heavy lunch all the time, then I would snack between lunch and dinner, and during dinner time, I normally have 2 people portion of food from the chinese takeaway! That is pretty scary, even to me. Maybe I have been working really hard, thus the constant hunger?
Ahh, I don’t know I hope this won’t go on, or else I’d be so broke. Do you get hungry all the time?
When I thought summer was over, it came back again! Such typical english weather isn’t it? Always very unpredictable. I guess I have to make full use of my nike sunglasses eh?
Just about 3 weeks ago when my parents were still around, everyday was just cold and windy. We had to take out our winter jackets. Then a week after they left, it became sunny again, with a temperature of 16-20 during the day. And now it has gone up to about 20-23 degrees!
I think I still prefer the weather back home, always consistent.
