So it is only a week till its xmas!! Anyone going away for xmas, could really do some research on vacation rentals by owner, very affordable, and different. I just found out about this, think its really cool, not on time for this year, maybe next year will think about it.

So, have you done all your xmas shopping yet? Sent all your xmas cards? Is everyone broke yet? Ha-ha. I am very lucky because I do not celebrate xmas like everyone else does. So I save a lot of money, for shopping on boxing day instead! Lol. My friends will be coming over for xmas dinner, but we do not practice the tradition of exchanging gifts.

However, I do enjoy this festive season, due to the street lights and decorations, in England xmas is a massive celebration!

Gosh, I just realised I havn’t watched any movies in ages! I think the last time I watched a movie was in April! 6 months ago my goodness. That is really long…

There aren’t really any good movies at the moment, most are malay films or horror genres, which I dislike. The only good one would be Real Steel, the reviews are great! Problem is its been out for awhile now, and most of my friends have already watched it! Darn. Or I could go for Tower Heist? Trailer looks pretty good. Anyone watched it yet??

I think I am finally putting on some weight! Sound like its something favourable? Actually people do hate me if I say this, I can hardly put on weight no matter how much I eat.

Christmas is around the corner, and I sure hope I wont put on anymore weight! Lol. Time to get broke again eh especially after checking out boyfriend Christmas gift ideas! Dont just shop for chocolates and biscuits and pressies for family, remember to hunt for the hardest thing to get, that is the gift for your boyfriend! Start hunting early, so you dont have to worry about it later ya!

Hopefully there wont be too many parties around, if not the month of Dec will be just nom nom nom!Actually I have been in England now for 7 years, and I think some of my friends are noticing some extra flesh and the overall size! Lol.. If I can keep and maintain it like this, I think Ill be happy, but if I were to put on more, then really No Thank You!! Haha.

Today I woke up at 2pm, and had a sudden cravings for TTDI Pan Mee. So I drove there myself, bought 2 packets of Pan Mee, at the same time couldn’t resist so bought Rojak, Taufu Bakar, and Nasi Lemak!! Omg, yes all for myself. Did I finished everything? Thank god no. I had rojak, nasi lemak, some taufu bakar, and 1 packet of pan mee. The rest my sister helped to finish! Haha

People think Im crazy, going for karaoke 3 days in a row. They may think I love singing very much eh (well maybe I do enjoy it occasionally) but actually I enjoy going for any event that is held at night, midnight or till early morning, what I do, dont really matter, be it eating, drinking, karaoke-ing or just chatting and chilling with friends at home. 

Tonight, I was about to attend my 3rd karaoke session, but the wedding dinner ended late, by the time I sent my friends home, it was already 12am. My friends were already there in Subang Jaya, but it is quite a distance to travel at night, on my own, so I thought I’d stay in and be good for once.

Yes, I am still following  UK time after being home for 3 weeks. So dont expect me to be awake in the morning, skipping breakfast is normal, but because of my sleeping patterns, I have been skipping lunches as well!! Very bad eh?

Check out Janice and Sonia’s version of Coming Home. I’v not heard of the song until I saw their version, and totally fell in love with it. They have kept the chorus the same but made some changes to the verse. It sounds really good!

I am sure those who uses facebook and youtube would have come across the twins ?

They are Janice and Sonia, very beautiful ladies who uploads covers to youtube, and are very talented singers. They often duet with other famous girls and guys on youtube, i.e. Andrew Garcia who participated in the American Idol 2 years ago (he was in the top 10)

When I thought summer was over, it came back again! Such typical english weather isn’t it? Always very unpredictable. I guess I have to make full use of my nike sunglasses eh?

Just about 3 weeks ago when my parents were still around, everyday was just cold and windy. We had to take out our winter jackets. Then a week after they left, it became sunny again, with a temperature of 16-20 during the day. And now it has gone up to about 20-23 degrees!

I think I still prefer the weather back home, always consistent.

British weather has been pretty crappy, raining and cold during summer? Oh.. how I wish I was back home in the sun now! Urgh..
Having said that, today was exceptional. We finally had sun all day, without a single drop of rain! Woohoo. It is indeed something to celebrate! Lol…

It is that time of the year again. It’s Bonus time!! I received a surprise email from my line manager today regarding our bonuses. Apparently my company has achieved their targets for the year 2010/2011, in fact, the profits were well over their targets.

So finally, all my hard work gets paid off eh! With this bonus, I can afford to look at undermount kitchen sinks now. It will also come in handy to pay for my air ticket to go home , and for my new work permit, I will still have some left just for savings! How exciting. My first real bonus! *proud*

Working in a pharmacy has its advantages. Recently, I have been getting a lot of free sample make ups, baby gift, wipes, cleaning liquid, and antibacterial pump sprays etc. Those make ups I get to take home are Loreal ones, and most of them are not used. So it is almost brand new. How lucky eh?

I love company benefits. I remember the last time I worked for Hilton Hotel, I get to take home bags full of crab tree moisturisers, shampoos, and body lotions. They do come in handy especially when you are someone who travels a lot.
