I am so glad after tomorrow I will be back in Torquay. Sometimes I do like busy stores, but when it is constantly busy, and you find yourself stuck with checking prescriptions every single second, no spare time to go to the loo or to check emails, then you’d be like me, wishing to be back in good old torquay. Plus, I need some spare time to make enquiries on life insurance quotes.

Working till 6.30pm is another disadvantage as well, by the time I get home, have dinner and shower, it would be time for bed. Anyway can’t wait for thursday night!

I checked my clickbank yesterday after work, and guess what? I made my 3rd sales !!

I am pretty pleased with my achievement so far, I have made 3 sales in 2 weeks, not bad huh for a starter?

I think affiliate marketing is all about taking action. People who have interest in earning money online musn’t read, read, and read. You actually have to start putting what you read into action, despite what the outcome might be. You’ll never know if you don’t try right?

So recently I have had several customers asking advice on hair loss products over the counter.

Well in UK, Regaine is the only option for female baldness and is not available on nhs prescription, they have to get a private prescription or buy them over the counter. It costs about £40-£50 to buy, which last for 3 months. It is still pretty expensive.

For men, there is another option – Finasteride, apart from minoxidil which is not available under NHS prescription as well. Other non-prescription items maybe obtainable from other countries, whether or not these other products have gone through clinical trial, it cannot be confirmed.

We have 9 bank holidays in England! Crazy or not?? But I am not complaining. Coming Monday is a bank holiday, and its my weekend off, so I have 3 days long weekend. Woohoo!

My parents and sister will be arriving London in the evening.  I will have to wake up early to start cleaning up the flat, you won’t believe, it is in such a mess, I can’t even stand it myself! Hopefully I can get up early.

There are so much to learn about affiliate marketing. You need to sign up with a hosting company (to host your domains), then buy domain names, set up wordpress, learn wordpress plug ins, and settings.

Then you have to look for products to promote, once you find something, you got to do keyword research, to see if you have a chance to compete with others out there to rank on google 1st page, then write your articles, get traffic etc. I realised there are so much to learn!! Then there is this thing where many internet marketers talk about – direct mail marketing, which is another thing I need to learn too!

Well, I think there is a huge potential in internet marketing, but you just got to keep trying, I am sure it is difficult in the beginning, but once you try a few more times, you are going to get it!

Yes, the winner of american idol 2011 goes to Scotty Mccreery. I mean everyone has expected it I think. He is more consistent every week, he has a very likable and unique alto voice which sounds really good when he sings country songs. He is always very comfortable on stage compared to Lauren Alaina, who has got a nice powerful voice but a bit shy on stage.

And like some people said, since most voters are females anyway, the male finalist always have the advantage of winning! I don’t know how true that is, but I think it makes sense! Don’t you think??

It is that time of the year again. It’s Bonus time!! I received a surprise email from my line manager today regarding our bonuses. Apparently my company has achieved their targets for the year 2010/2011, in fact, the profits were well over their targets.

So finally, all my hard work gets paid off eh! With this bonus, I can afford to look at undermount kitchen sinks now. It will also come in handy to pay for my air ticket to go home , and for my new work permit, I will still have some left just for savings! How exciting. My first real bonus! *proud*

This weeks top 3 performances are a dissapointment. None of them came up with a ‘wow’ performance, dont you think?

Scotty can only sing certain songs, he does country well, but not a song with high notes, because he sounds awful when he tries to reach high notes with his super alto voice. And again the way he holds his microphone, and tilt his head really annoys me, I dont know why!

Lauren Alaina has a nice powerful voice but is typical. Many people with good voices sound the same, she isn’t unique enough to win it, where as Haley has a very unique tone, and style of her own.

Working in a pharmacy has its advantages. Recently, I have been getting a lot of free sample make ups, baby gift, wipes, cleaning liquid, and antibacterial pump sprays etc. Those make ups I get to take home are Loreal ones, and most of them are not used. So it is almost brand new. How lucky eh?

I love company benefits. I remember the last time I worked for Hilton Hotel, I get to take home bags full of crab tree moisturisers, shampoos, and body lotions. They do come in handy especially when you are someone who travels a lot.

So this week has been a nice and quiet week for me at work. Being a relief pharmacist, you do have good weeks and bad weeks, some weeks are better than others. So far, this week has been a very calm and quiet week most days. I hope I won’t jinx it, because tomorrow is Friday, and normally Fridays are the busiest day in a week.

I have been really lucky as well, 3 days out of 5 days, I get to wake up at 8.15am, because I only work 5 minutes away. The other 2 days I still get to wake up at 8.15am, but I have to spend some money to get a cab to town (5 minutes away). Lucky eh?

On bad weeks, I will have to wake up at 7am, and then take 2 busses, travel about an hour to my work place. So I will enjoy while I can.
