I will be going home end of march till mid april. Yay. I am so happy, I finally have new annual holidays from April onwards. This time I am really excited, because I can go home to view the 2 condominium that I invested in!! I only saw pictures that my mom took! It will be nice to see the showhouse for myself what I have actually purchased! Lol.
Bank Negara in Malaysia has set a restriction for loan borrower for the 3rd home you buy, so I can’t buy anymore properties for the mean time, as they would only offer up to 70% of loan now, I guess I will have to look into other investments like us coins maybe. Do you invest on golds and coins? Do share your views.

I have been really unhealthy recently. Every time when I am in town waiting for the bus to go home, I can’t help it but go into KFC to get Hot Wings. Hot wings are my favourite snack alongside popcorn chicken. Today, I was feeling knackered after work, can’t be bothered to cook, so I bought 2 packet of hot wings (comes in 3), and that was my dinner.
Do you like hot wings from KFC??

The other night, after unloading all our goodies back at home, rested our tired legs for a bit, went online to look for reporting tools for a friend, then we headed back out to town for a nice portugese roast chicken meal. I am not very keen in Nando’s but I don’t mind it, as we have it in Malaysia as well. I was surprise there aren’t any nando’s in Hong Kong, most of my hongkie friends love Nando’s so much so that every time we are in the city, they would opt for nando’s over anything else.

Every time I come to nando’s I will order my favourite portugese custard tart without fail, and of course the chicken leg with mango and lime flavour, with peri-peri flavoured fries, and mash potato.

Awhile ago during xmas period, after few hours of shopping at Exeter, we got on the train to Plymouth to meet with the rest for bowling. My friend managed to book 3 games for £6, bargain! After that, we went across to Pizza Hut for our dinner.
Pizza hut will always be my last option no matter what. What made me decide on having pizza then?? We only have a few choices really, either nando’s which I have had the night before, Frankie and benny’s (had it few weeks ago, and didn’t like it) or Pizza hut.
I thought I’ll go for pizza hut, because I can have their chicken wings! Their wings is the only thing that motivated me to go there, and also we were very hungry already, any food will do when I am hungry! Ha ha.
Meat feast pizza with stuffed crust base, Super supreme pizza, Chicken pasta, BBQ wings

Ahh, the itch is killing me. I always get very bad itch on my legs especially behind my knees in England. But when I am home, it is fine. I hope it is just the cold and dry weather here that is causing my skin to dry up, and the lack of water in my body as well that is making my skin become scaly, itchy, it makes me scratch them until my legs are so awfully scarred!
At one point the itch was so bad, I thought I had eczema!! I really hope that’s not the case, or else I may have to start looking for eczema treatments! I bought hand cream, body lotion etc, but I just can’t get myself into the habbit of using it daily, but if the itch continues, I better be using it more frequently eh!!
It has been such a long time since I last bought groceries, because I haven’t been cooking at all! So because I had a day off today and I wasn’t going to travel anywhere, I thought it is time to do a bit of cleaning up, so to motivate myself to get up early in the morning, I booked a delivery slot at 10am.
Tesco’s have been really good, they were never late, and the food they sent were always fresh, and if any items were not in stock, they would always give me an alternative, and I can take it or return it.

I normally buy a lot more than this, but this time I was being sensible, only order the necessity and what I can finish, online shopping can be addictive, and ordering when you are hungry is a bad idea, so I always try to order before I go to bed, so I won’t have much cravings.
Do you do your grocery shopping online at all??

Last Saturday was my first time travelling to Dawlish for work! I have only visited Dawlish once when my parents came to visit few months ago. For the next couple of Saturdays, I will be travelling to Dawlish to work half day shifts.
It was such a relaxing day, because Saturdays are really quiet, and you get time to do all the odd jobs, the pharmacy was so quiet, I managed to spare some time to read an article on how to increase breast milk and use it as one of my CPDs (continuous professional development). That saves me from spending time at home doing all these boring readings.
I don’t mind going to Dawlish to work really, because Dawlish is a pretty little town, with a nice river with plenty of birds to watch. I enjoy the nice scenery whilst travelling on the train as well! Hopefully the weather will be nice and sunny tomorrow!

Normally I would buy the batchelor’s can soup, but this time I thought I’d try the cup a soup sachets, because you just need to add boiling water to it, so easy, it saves a lot of work when you are really hungry, and I also bring this to work, have it with bread. Cheap and nice.
However, I have to admit the can soup is tastier, so If I am having pasta, I would prefer to use the condensed can soup, not the sachets.

Every time when I come back from London, I have to think of ways to get rid of belly fat! Why?? Because all I do in London is eat, eat and eat, then I would also bring back lots of nice food that I can’t get here in Torquay, including Egg tarts, without fail! I miss them so much, with Chinese tea!! Best-est dessert ever. Well there are 2 different types of base, one more oily called ‘sou pei’ the other is the biscuit and more solid base.

I have always bought the Sou pei, but this time I had both. I thought the sou pei actually taste better, but it is much more oily indeed, the other biscuit base egg tart is easier to carry and bring home, because it is more solid, even after dropping the box several times on the floor, the egg tart is still intact as one!
Actually both are equally good. Which egg tart do you prefer??

Do you have the tradition of having Chinese new year cake ‘lin ko’ during cny?? I find it really strange, when I was in Malaysia, I never used to eat Lin ko during cny, but ever since I came over to England, I have it every year! It is a must, I normally travel to Bristol or London to get a big box, then store it in the freezer, and just fry it with eggs and have it as a snack!
It is yumm. Do you like Lin Ko?
