In the start of the song, someone over the phone tells a story about how they’ve lost everything in an apartment fire, and is completely lost. Jason, in the song is trying to help them get through this difficult time of their life, and at the end of the song, another phone call tells that they have managed to pull through and feels grateful for Jason’s help. The meaning of the song is along the same lines of detachment – from any sort of relationship problems, losing someone, or just about any life crisis one is dealing with.

I love the lyrics of the song, I think it is beautifully written, the meaning of the song definitely applies to most us at some point of our lives. I think this is a great song for those who are trying to move on from a broken relationship, This is my favourite part – ‘hold your own, know your name’ – is a reminder for one to appreciate and love yourself, put yourself first before others, don’t try to be someone you’re not for someone else. So basically, don’t let a relationship become everything/main thing in your life, because when it is over, you are left with nothing, but yourself.

Have you heard of the music ‘replay’ by Iyaz? I’m currently listening to it everyday for the past 3 days now.. I was so bored the other day, I was browsing through youtube, and somehow came across 2 versions of the song sang by Huu from Vietnam, and a group of 3 guys from USA (Andrew Garcia was one of them), I was addicted to the song even before listening to the original singer

This guy Huu, from Vietnam, living in France is quite talented, he has recorded many of his own videos and has received over 5 million views, and thousands of positive feedback from the public. He seemed really good with his guitar and the vocals are not bad as well. The only problem is when he talks, lol. He cracks me up at times, because half of the time I can’t understand what he is saying, his vietnamese slang is overpowering, do ignore that but check out his singing, and other videos from him, he seemed like a cool guy!

The group of 3 guys did a better version of the song compared to Huu, I guess they are more professional in every aspect, and they havn’t got a slang, so I understand them much better, and they are hilarious! I love the vocals from the guy on the left (JR Aquino) most and the middle guy (AJ Rafael) as well, though he did not sing much in this video, Andrew Garcia was alright, I actually thought the other 2 guys sang better. I came across this video because I have heard AJ Rafael did his version of ‘Lucky‘ by Jason Mraz with his female friend (in my previous post), and I thought that sounded really good, and cute. In this video, I was shocked to find out he actually knew Andrew Garcia from the American Idol. 3 of them together seemed to make a great band, with really good vocals from all 3. Check the video out, they actually got a shout out from Iyaz official site!!

Did any of you watched american idol episode 23, do you like the song at the end of the episode? It is a song by Will Young called Leave Right Now, It is quite an old song, the album was released in 2003, about 7 years ago now. I can’t believe Im falling in love with this song all over again. It was such a long time since I last heard Will Young’s music. He actually does sound like a woman in the beginning of the song, then slowly you will realise its a man. Lol..

He released a new album in November 2009, called ‘The Hits’. Leave Right Now is included in his album as well. Such a great hit from him. The few songs I liked from Will Young is Let it Go and Leave Right Now. Have a go, and see if you like him, I warn you first his music is quite emo, if you are in that moment, then you may like it, but if you are up for a happier and up beat song, then leave this ;)

Justin Drew Bieber was born on 1st of March 1994, a young and successful canadian R&B and Pop singer. His performances were spotted by Scooter Braun on youtube, who later  became his manager. Braun arranged for Bieber to meet up with Usher in Atlanta, Georgia, and eventually came to an agreement and signed a record deal with Island Records, where Justin Bieber began his music career.

Justin’s 1st debut album My World was released on November 17, 2009. Four singles -  One Time, One Less Lonely Girl, Love Me, and Favorite Girl were Top 15 hits on the Canadian Hot 100 and Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.

The 2nd album My World 2.0 has just been released recently in March 2010. The lead single, “Baby” was released on January 18, 2010.

Bieber was named the newcomer of the year by MuchMusic, and listed by Celebuzz as one of the Top 10 YouTube stars of the decade.

A friend recommended one of Miley Cyrus songs to me called ‘the climb’. I found the song really comforting, and her voice is not bad. Another new found talent by me I thought I’d share with you the clip I found on You tube.

The climb was actually the soundtrack of the movie Hannah Montana 2009, Miley Cyrus was the main actress in the movie, and also the singer for the soundtrack. The song is written by Jessi Alexander and Jon Mabe and was released on March 5, 2009 as the lead single of the film’s soundtrack by Walt Disney Records. The lyrics of the song describes life as a difficult but rewarding journey. It is a country pop ballad, and was her first solo released to country radio.

Cyrus released her second album in July 2008, called ‘Breakout‘. She said the album was inspired by the things that was going on in her life in the past year. She co-wrote 8 out of 12 songs on the album. For Cyrus, songwriting is what she really wanted to do in her life. The album topped the U.S. Billboard 200 chart with a first week sales of about 371,000 copies.

Did you guys watch American Idol episode 21, result night? If you did, what did you think of the performance at the start of the show? I thought the Michael buble song ‘havn’t met you yet’ was such a cute song.. Loved it! Let me know what you think, ait?

Michael Buble has been active in the singing since 2001 till now. Through out this period, he has won numerous awards and is widely recognized by the world. The recent awards he won this year in 2010 include Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album – Michael Buble meets Madison Square Garden, British Award for International Male Solo Artist, and Meteor Award for the same title.

You would have heard the song ‘Home’ by Michael, which is probably the song that has made him so well known today. It was from the album called ‘it’s time’ released in 2005. The song was written by him along with Alan Chang and Amy Foster-Gillies. The song was a hit in Canada and US topping the US contemporary chart.

How did the song came along?  Michael had been away in Italy doing his tour when he wrote ‘Home’ for his fiancee, Debbie Timuss. He describes his loneliness from missing her in the lyrics. The song centralizes on the male narrator who is separated from his beloved while traveling, he expresses a desire to home and be with her.

Peter Andre has become such a hot topic especially in the Uk. His separation and issues with ex-wife, Katie Price and new fling, Maddy Ford has created so much gossips and talks in the media, that he became popular. I never really knew who he was, until this new came upon. But if you tell me Katie Price’s ex-husband, then I know, because Katie Price is obviously a bigger name than Pete!! It may be this whole ‘thing’ that is going on now will help him with his music career. Just like myself, I went to find out more about who this ‘fellor’ is, what he does, and what sort of music he sings..etc.

Ok, so I found out that his birth name is Peter James Andrea, born on the 27th Feb 1973 in London. He is an Australian-raised English singer and songwriter. He was married to Katie Price in Sept 2005, and has 2 children, a boy, Junior and a girl, princess Tiaamii. They were separated in May 2009 and the official divorce took place in Sept 2009.

How about his music career? He started being active in his music since 1990, but his performances fluctuated. He achieved some success with the singles ‘Only One’ which reached 16 and then gained further success with the song ‘Mysterious Girl’ which reached no. 2 in Uk. He had a no. 1 album ‘Natural’ and 2 Uk no. 1 singles ‘Flava’ and ‘I Feel You’ however after a few unsuccesful performances, he slowly dissapeared for several year before returning in 2004 where he re-released his hit song  ’mysterious girl’ followed by a follow up album entitled ‘the long road back’. Then in 2006 he released a duet album with his wife called ‘A whole new world’ which were not very successful. In 2008 he worked on his new album  Revelation, and was released in Sept 2009, the songs mainly focus around their divorce stories.

Jeolous Jordan (Katie Price) claims that Peter wants her back but he hits out!

Jordan is mad over Peter’s fling. She believes her ex-husband, Peter Andre would want her back if they met up, she also thinks that is the reason why he refuses to see or speak to her as he would miss her so much so that they would get back together.

Last week, it emerged that Peter had enjoyed sex with Maddy, a stylist and former model. She was furious and screamed when she hit the roof upon hearing peter’s steamy sex sessions with Maddy!

However, Peter laughed off claims that he still has feelings for Jordan and told OK mag that this is not the case. He added that he only cared for her as the kid’s mother.

Jordan called Pete a liar for saying he didnt have a girlfriend but Maddy was his girlfriend!  She wanted the news to show that he is not Mr Nice Guy anymore and reveals his true colours and he is a liar.

The whole thing of protecting themselves just went on and on… Who knows about the real truth really? Who cheated on who 1st? Pete says the ex-wife, Jordan never left her phone lying around and he never trusted her.

On the other hand, Alex, Jordan’s current husband is fedup of Jordan who keeps talking about Pete. She explains that she only care about the kids, not Pete, but Alex knows better and is worried that she’s planning to dump him and get back together with Pete. What do you think? Will they get back together? I think they should just move on with their lives, I dont think Pete is worth her effort fighting for. He is such a terrible guy, from the way he treats Maddy, (in a recent interview, Maddy revealed that Pete used her for sex all these while)
